Ertapenem injection is used to treat certain serious infections, including pneumonia and urinary tract, skin, diabetic foot, gynecological, pelvic, and abdominal (stomach area) infections, that are caused by bacteria. It is also used for the prevention of infections following colorectal surgery

Each vial contains:
Ceftazidime pentahydrate equivalent to Ceftazidime...2 gm
Avibactam sodium equivalent to Avibactam 0.5 gm Sterile sodium carbonate (anhydrous).....232.9 g
Sodium per vial content 6.44 mmol eq. to 148mg
Keep out of the sight and reach of children. Store below 30°C. Protect from light.
For Intravenous use. Single use vial. Dilute before use. Use reconstituted solution immediately or solution in infusion bags maybe stored for up to 24 hours at 2-8°C, followed by up to 12 hours at not more than 25°C. Discard any unused portion.
